Summary
WorkSafeBC is committed to making our organization inclusive and accessible to all. Under the Accessible BC Act, WorkSafeBC has developed an accessibility plan. The plan outlines the steps we're taking to make our organization more inclusive of individuals with disabilities. Public feedback will help us to identify, remove, and prevent barriers people face when accessing services or employment at WorkSafeBC.
What is the Accessible BC Act? The Accessible BC Act aims to remove barriers to people with disabilities in accessing services and employment (read the Act here).
How you can share your feedback
We want to better understand the barriers people with disabilities may face when accessing our employment opportunities or services at WorkSafeBC, and welcome your feedback on:
- Any barriers you or someone you know have faced in accessing our employment opportunities or services
- e.g., navigating our website, accessing our buildings, making a claim, applying for a WorkSafeBC job, etc.
- How we can improve our organization’s accessibility plan
We encourage you to share your thoughts on our plan and any barriers you may be facing. To share your feedback please click here or on our feedback button at the top of the page.
How your contributions make a difference
Your feedback will be shared directly with our Accessibility Committee and leadership. With your feedback, we will work to identify and address gaps in accessing our services. Additionally, your contributions may have an impact on future revisions of WorkSafeBC’s accessibility plan.
